Read 1 Peter 2:12-17. What is honorable conduct among outsiders according to this passage? How specifically can we have honorable conduct today? What is at stake?
Read Colossians 4:5. What is to characterize our speech among unbelievers? How do you think this relates to social media? What other situations might this be especially relevant in? What is at stake in obeying God in this way?
Read 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12. What is it to “walk properly before outsiders” according to these verses? Why is this instruction relevant today?
Read John 13:35. How will people know that we are Christians in accordance with this verse? How practically should we be loving others in the church? Give examples. How can we help outsiders to get a view of our love for the church? How can we “open the curtains” in our church so the world can see the love that we have for one another?
