Consider vv. 1-3. Pagan worship was focused on ecstatic experiences, but Christian worship has always focused on revelation. How do you see that distinction in Christian worship today?
Consider vv. 4-11. Do you agree with Jeff, that Paul’s point here is not to teach on each of the different gifts of the Spirit but to bring attention to some of the variety of gifts of the Spirit in the Corinthian church? Why or why not?
