Read Acts 25:13 - 26:32. What is the main point of this passage of Scripture?
Consider Acts 26:8. Why do you think the Jews could not fathom that God raised the dead, even when their theology allowed for it?
What is the different between belief in belief and vital Christian faith? How is this difference displayed in this passage?
How do you see the pattern of Paul 1. displaying great conviction (26:8), 2. sharing his personal testimony (26:9-18), and then 3. calling for repentance and faith (26:19-32). What elements of this pattern should carry over into our ministry as Christians? What are the dissimilarities that we have with Paul?
Consider Paul’s challenge to Agrippa in 26:9-18. Is it challenging for you to call non-believers to believe in Christ? Why or why not? What can we learn from Paul? Did someone every challenge you to believe in Christ, or to display new trust in God or repentance? Explain.
Consider Ephesians 2:1-10. How can you relate to this description of your testimony? What ways does this seem foreign with your experience? How do you account for any dissonance?
