On the morning of Saturday, June 29th, Dan Miller from Eden Baptist Church will be teaching a seminar on parenting! This seminar comes highly recommended by Dan’s church, which does a lengthier version of it every year. If you’re interested in attending, please register here. Who is Dan Miller?

Dan Miller has been faithfully pastoring Eden Baptist Church in Burnsville, Minnesota for 35 years. Before he received the call to pastor there he received his M.Div. and Th.M. degrees from Central Baptist Theological Seminary, and during his ministry has also received a D.Min. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. But what commends Dan more than any of his degrees is the people under his care. They have a deep love and respect for Dan and his enduring care for the church out of a genuine love for Christ.

Dan is also a family man with four grown children and a growing tribe of grandchildren. Throughout the years, Dan has become known by members of his church for his biblical, thoughtful, and helpful parenting wisdom. When they asked him to do a parenting seminar for the church, it was so helpful for them that they insisted on him doing it every year. Dan will be doing a mini-version of that seminar for the families of Sellwood Church. Background checked and trained children's ministry workers from Eden Baptist are providing childcare from 9am to noon. Dan and the members of Eden Baptist Church are providing this seminar to families completely free of charge, and people outside of Sellwood Church membership are invited to join us!
